pR@tz: So tell me njaan, how is life? How is your girl-friends?
ഞാന്‍: സുഖമായിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു സഹോദരാ.കാമുകിമാരുടെ ശല്യം തല്‍ക്കാലം ഇല്ല. pR@tz-ന് എന്തുണ്ട് വിശേഷം. എന്നെ കുറെ തെറി കേള്‍പ്പിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ എന്തൊ ഒരു സുഖം തോന്നുന്നു, അല്ലേ?

pR@tz: (with his typical grin)…he! he! he! … yeah!… feeling really good. Expect more soon. Where were you all these days?
ഞാന്‍: ഞാനിവിടൊക്കെ തന്നെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോ പഴയ പോലെയല്ല. സമയം ഒട്ടുമില്ല. എന്റെ ഗൈഡ് ആണെങ്കില്‍ എന്നെ നിലം തൊടീക്കുന്നില്ല.

pR@tz: yeah! njaan, I can understand, even I am doing my research and my guide too is strict. Sigh! By the way, last few weeks at Malayalam blogosphere, we had nice fights between pro-protest group and anti-protest group.
ഞാന്‍: എന്തിനാ മോനേ ഞങ്ങള്‍ എന്ന് പറയുന്നേ. മോന്‍ സ്വയമല്ലേ വഴീ കൂടെ നടന്ന് പോയ പട്ടീടെ വായേ കയ്യിട്ട് കടി വാങ്ങിയേ. വല്ല കാര്യമുണ്ടായിരുന്നോ? അല്ലേലും നിനക്ക് പെണ്‍പിള്ളേര് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് പണ്ടേ ഒരു വീക്ക്‍നെസ്സ് ആണ്.

pR@tz: (in a serious tone) Well, I still think whatever I did is right. I would have done the same even if it was someone else. I did what I felt right and will be doing the same in future.
ഞാന്‍: അതേ. right, നീ പണ്ട് കോപ്പിറൈറ്റുകളെ എതിര്‍ത്ത് സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടില്ലേ. എന്നിട്ടിപ്പോ എന്ത് പറ്റി?

pR@tz: Every creator has a right over his creation, I respect that right. Copyright infringement cause problems (to many) only when there is a materialistic value attached to it. Personally, I am not interested in any materialistic benefit, but I need a credit for my creation and that is the reason I am publishing it by cc-attribution-ShareAlike. Both of us are researchers, and we know how difficult it is to get a journal paper; I hate copyrights for that reason too, knowledge is something which should not be locked like that. I am ready to give the authors credit for the excellent work they did and the publishing journal. But, why the copyrights?
ഞാന്‍: ശരിയാണ്. ജേണല്‍ പേപ്പറുകള്‍ കിട്ടുവാന്‍ ഞാനും കുറേയേറെ കഷ്ടപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്. ഒരു പക്ഷെ, ആ പേപ്പര്‍ പബ്ലിഷ് ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി വരുന്ന ചിലവുകള്‍ നികത്തുവാന്‍ ആയിരിക്കും ജേണലുകള്‍ക്ക് പണം ഈടാക്കുന്നതും അവയ്ക്ക് കോപ്പിറൈറ്റുകള്‍ ഉള്ളതും.

pR@tz: You said it. Everything in this world has a value. That is not a right thing according to me and should be changed. Man needs food, water, air, a place to sleep and dress to wear – the basic needs, additionally he will require education, entertainment (not luxurious) to live like a human. In return he should contribute in the best way to the society. In this particular, ‘ideal society’, nothing will have a monetary value, everyone will be free to think, free to learn, free to innovate…..man will live in a kind of equilibrium with nature – if something comes in, same happens in return too… (gazing at infinity)
ഞാന്‍: സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു. പക്ഷെ അത്തരമൊരു സമൂഹം നിലവില്‍ വരുമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നുണ്ടോ? മനുഷ്യന്റെ അത്യാഗ്രഹം അതിനൊരു തടസ്സമല്ലേ? വിവരമില്ലായ്മയും pR@tz-ന്റെ ഈ സ്വപ്നത്തിന് വിഘാതമാകും.

pR@tz: “I am not a liberator, liberators do not exist, people liberate themselves” … as said by Ernesto Che Guevara. Do you think people are completely sovereign in this world, even if you call your country is sovereign? Do you have the right to express your opinion every time? Do you think you have equal right on natural resources? Are you able to get the education to your likes even if you are capable to study it? Are you able to marry a girl, even if she likes you? If your answer is NO at least to one question, then YOU ARE NOT FREE.
ഞാന്‍: ശരിയാണ് pR@tz പറഞ്ഞത്. എല്ലാവരും സ്വയം വിചാരിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമാണ് അത്. ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം‌ കിട്ടുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ആളുകളുടെ ചിന്താഗതിയും ഇപ്രകാരം തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നല്ലോ, “എന്തിനാപ്പോ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കിട്ടിയിട്ട്” എന്ന്. അത് പോലെ തന്നെ ഇപ്പോഴും. ആളുകള്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും കരുതുന്നത് അവര്‍ സ്വതന്ത്രരാണ് എന്നാണ്. പീസ്സയും കഴിച്ച് പെപ്സിയും കുടിച്ച് നടക്കുന്ന അവര്‍ക്കറിയില്ല, അവര്‍ കഴിക്കുന്ന ഭക്ഷണം എന്തായിരിക്കണം, കുടിക്കുന്ന പാനീയം എന്തായിരിക്കണം, എന്നൊക്കെ തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നത് (അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ തീരുമാനിക്കുവാന്‍ പോകുന്നത്) നമ്മുക്കൊക്കെ സങ്കല്‍പ്പിക്കുവാന്‍ പോലും കഴിയാത്തത്ര സ്വത്തുള്ള അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര കുത്തകകള്‍ ആണെന്ന്. സ്വന്തം കാര്യം ചിന്തിക്കുവാന്‍ പോലും മറക്കുന്ന ഇവര്‍, ഒരു സഹജീവിയെ കുറിച്ച് എപ്പോ ഓര്‍ക്കും?

pR@tz: Right said. I have seen many people advising “why the hell are you interfering in that mess, you aren’t affected naa…“. I think it is the problem with the way they are brought up, the kind of education they got, hatred or prejudices against ideologies other than their beliefs. Things should be changed from the root level. People should be taught to cooperate and not to compete. The whole educational system is flawed. As far as Kerala is concerned, I think the problems started with the banning of politics in educational institutions.
ഞാന്‍: രാഷ്ഠ്രീയം നിരോധിച്ചത് ഒരു തെറ്റായ കാര്യമാണെന്ന് അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നതിനോടൊപ്പം pR@tz പറഞ്ഞ മറ്റൊരു കാര്യത്തോട് ഞാന്‍ വിയോജിക്കുന്നു. പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങ്നിയത് കലാലയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ രംഗം ‘കലാപ രാഷ്ട്രീയ രംഗം” ആയതോടെയാണ്. കുട്ടി നേതാക്കളെ മര്യാദയ്ക്ക് നിര്‍ത്തേണ്ട മുതിര്‍ന്ന നേതാക്കള്‍ പല കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയും അവരെ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത് തന്നെയാണ് എന്ന് വേണമെങ്കില്‍ പറയാം. എന്തായാലും ഈ അരാഷ്ഠ്രീയവല്‍ക്കരണത്തിന്റെ പരിണതഫലങ്ങളാണ് ജനാധിപത്യമൂല്യങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും, അവകാശങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചുമുള്ള അറിവില്ലായ്മ. ഈ അറിവില്ലായമയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഉടലെടുത്തതാണ് പ്രതിഷേധസമരങ്ങലോടുള്ള എതിര്‍പ്പും പുഛ്ചവും. പ്രതിഷേധ സമരം‌ കൊണ്ട് ശക്തനും അദൃശ്യനുമായ എതിരാളിക്കെന്താണ് സംഭവിക്കുവാന്‍ പോകുന്നത് എന്ന് ചോദിക്കുന്നവരോട് എനിക്ക് സഹതാപമേയുള്ളു.

pR@tz: Thank you njaan for your support. Protests have its own power, when you protest it is like telling the whole world that “See this is not right”. I think we had created enough buzz to inform the world that something had happened wrong somewhere. Though, “physical actions” outside blogosphere are necessary to call this a complete victory.
ഞാന്‍: എല്ലാ ഭാവുകങ്ങളും നേരുന്നു. ചില കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ കൊള്ളാമെന്നുണ്ട്. ചോദിക്കട്ടെ? ചിലപ്പോള്‍ വിവാദമായേക്കും.

ഞാന്‍: എന്ത് കൊണ്ടാണ് ബെര്‍ളി തോമസിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചത്? നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതിഷേധത്തെയും മറ്റും പരിഹസിക്കുന്ന പോസ്റ്റുകള്‍ മറ്റ് പലരും ഇട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ. അവരെയൊന്നും തൊടാതെ എന്തിന് ബെര്‍ളിയെ അടച്ചാക്ഷേപിച്ചു?

pR@tz: അതിന് മലയാളത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ഉത്തരം പറയാം. ഞാന്‍ അറിയുന്ന ബെര്‍ളി തോമസില്‍ നിന്നും അത്തരമൊരു പ്രതികരണമല്ല പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചത്. സൂപ്പര്‍മാന്‍ തൊട്ട് ശക്തിമാന്‍ വരെ പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ സാമൂഹികപ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള ഒരാളില്‍ നിന്നും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് അത്തരമൊരു പ്രതികരണമായിരുന്നില്ല. അത് കൊണ്ട് ബെര്‍ളിയെ വിമര്‍ശിച്ച് എഴുതി. ബെര്‍ളി അതിനൊരു മറുപടിയും തന്നു. ഞാന്‍ തിരികെ ഒന്നും കൊടുത്തു.
ഞാന്‍: അപ്പോ ബാക്കി വന്ന തെറികള്‍ ഒന്നും കണ്ടില്ലെന്നാണോ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നത്.

pR@tz: ബാക്കിയേത് പന്നന്‍മാര് പറഞ്ഞാലും എനിക്കെന്താ? Let they do what ever they want to. If I chase every criticism I recieve and reply them individually, I will have time only for that. I am basically a research scholar, the role of blogger is secondary. I reply only those criticisms which deserves it.
ഞാന്‍: ഒരു സംശയം കൂടി. നിങ്ങലുടെ ഈ ബ്ലോഗ്ഗില്‍ കമന്റ് മോഡറേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയാണെന്നും, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിഷ്ടമുള്ള കമന്റുകള്‍ മാത്രമെ അനുവദികാറുള്ളൂ എന്നും കേട്ടു. ജനാധിപത്യമൂല്യങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച് വാ തോരാതെ സംസാരിച്ചിട്ട് ആ ചെയ്തത് ശരിയാണോ?

pR@tz: njaan, its already 6.30. ഇനി ഹോസ്റ്റലില്‍ പോയിട്ട് തിരികെ വരേണ്ടതല്ലേ. ഏതാ മെസ്സ്?
ഞാന്‍: ഓ കാവേരി തന്നെ. ഞാന്‍ ഈ കൃഷ്ണയില്‍ നിന്നും കാവേരിയില്‍ നിന്നുമൊക്കെ കഴിച്ച് മടുത്ത്. എനിക്ക് ഹിമാലയ ആണ് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത്. അപ്പൊ ശരി. പിരിയാം. ഇത് പോലൊരു പരിപാടി ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ബ്ലോഗ്ഗിലും ഒരെണ്ണം arrange ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്. വരണേ..
